33 more people have recovered from Coronavirus infections in Ghana.
This brings to 188, the total number of recoveries in the country.
This was confirmed by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Aboagye during a press briefing organized by the Ministry of Information on the coronavirus situation in Ghana.
Dr. Aboagye says more recoveries are expected to be recorded in the coming days as more persons are awaiting the results of a second test.
In Ghana, persons infected with COVID-19 are declared to have recovered when they test negative to the virus twice after undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s case count has risen to 1,671 with 11 deaths.
